We turned 6 months old a week ago and decided to spend our anniversary weekend and nothing beats a fabulous luxury getaway at the award-winning Beverly Hills Hotel in uMhlanga, which first opened its doors in 1964, has become synonymous with elegance, gracious hospitality and intuitive service.
From the moment we arrived the staff and managers were friendly. The view from the pool side is amazing. We were lucky to experience fantastic weather especially coming from the unbearably cold weather of Joburg, we were greeted with a warm genuine welcome from doorman to reception front of house management in attendance and warm greetings from the General manager one of few hotels where top management are visible and attentive to hotel guests requirements at every turn.
The Beverly Hills Hotel, which has hosted royalty, celebrities and captains of industry, offers guests a choice of 89 beautifully appointed rooms – each with a private balcony and an uninterrupted view of the ocean.
It's literally one of the best places to throw a surprise no matter the occasion. The staff were amazing and the extra attention to detail added to the wonder. My husband was so happy, when planning this trip I merely asked for a chilled bottle of Moët Nectar on our arrival andI was pleasantly surprised to find a room filled with balloons, a card and and sweet anniversary cake in our room. The staff is incredibly intuitive.
we dined at the the sugar club restaurant over our 3 night stay. which overlooks the sparkling Indian Ocean, is a member of the Chaine de Rotisseurs – a testament to the superiority of its cuisine.Distinguished and elegant, uMhlanga’s The Sugar Club is renowned for its consistent culinary excellence and a popular choice for celebrations. The restaurants Wine List is the recipient of the Diners Diamond Award for 2014 and 2015. Every meal is a celebration in the Sugar Club.The Sugar Club is equally renowned for its decadent desserts that are a fitting end to a truly exceptional dining experience.
