Luxury off roader meets Luxury Bush break

The “compact luxury crossover” descriptor is hardly vivid enough for Land Rover’s Range Rover Velar as it met its match perched high on a koppie with expansive views of the Waterberg Mountains, Bushwa Private Game Lodge is the perfect spot for a weekend safari. This luxurious lodge has a variety of accommodation options, including luxury safari tents and chalets with private balconies. This past weekend we had a fabulous road trip in the Luxury Velar to a stunning Luxury private game lodge.

Our stay at Bushwa is one we won't forget anytime soon. We had a relaxing weekend in a beautiful tented camp, stylishly furnished with a stunning inside-outside shower. There is an all-around view of the farm as it is built on the hill. The staff is very friendly and helpful. and the food was very, we enjoyed every meal! We did not want to go home, The staff went beyond what is expected to make our stay special. I'm still daydreaming about the views from the luxury safari tents are spectacular. This is a cozy bush getaway which should be on everyone's to-do list for a weekend.

The other accommodation option at Bushwa is the remotely located treehouse overlooking a waterhole - the perfect place for couples looking for a private retreat in an isolated wilderness area. A whole Tre house it honestly doesn't get better than this. We had a fabulous champagne breakfast here, just writing about it makes me want to go back right this moment! This honestly needs to seriously be on everyone's to-do list.

Game drives take place in the surrounding Waterberg region, a unique biosphere. Days begin and end with game drives, followed by hearty meals.

Times are dependent on season, and a daily schedule is as follows: 05h15 – Wake up call at first light, followed by coffee and rusks at the lodge 05h45 - 09h00 – Morning game drive, or other pre-planned activity 09h00 – 11h00 – A gourmet breakfast is served, and guests will spend the rest of the day at leisure 14h00 – Light lunch 16h00 – 19h00 – Afternoon and evening game drive, complete with sundowners

Game drives are a standard and take place twice a day. They take place in an open game viewer, allowing you to feel that much closer to nature. The morning game drive takes place at dawn and the evening drive lets you see enjoy sightings of nocturnal predators. And there's always a break for sundowners! In addition to daily game drives you can also request bush walks where you will learn about the faun and flora of the area from knowledgeable guides. Game drives in the evening were amazing, they were the perfect recipe to create the most romantic evening ever, I've never experienced stars as beautiful as I have when we were at the bush lodge

I can't wait for our next bush break! There's a video and some travel tips for the perfect romantic bush break up on me and my husbands' blog www.roadstorunways.com
